Pastrami The Space Cat
Pastrami The Space Cat was a collaborative comic project between Tallewellyn Comics and myself in our final year of University (2023)
Pastrami is a children's comic aimed at ages 10-15 about a young mechanic on a distant planet filled with action adventure and of course, Cats!
Not only was I the writer of this project, I was also the lead character artist, designing the protagonist, villain and the majority of the supporting cast and background characters.
I also illustrated the front and back covers of the comic itself.
Pastrami The Space Cat is a children's introduction to the genera of cyberpunk. It's range of bright and colourful characters in contrast with the dark and gritty city backgrounds makes for a great balance between kids Media and the soul of Cyberpunk.

Pastrami The Space Cat has been received well, complimented for it's Storytelling, Character growth and world building as well as receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback on the character designs
The comic has also received praise for the representation of Asperges syndrome present in the main character without it being the theme of the comic.
In pastrami we wanted to ensure that there was subtle representation of disability to normalise it for the children reading and promote self love.
